      Ralph Elton Adamson, 84, passed away Friday, Jan 25, 2008, at a Fort Worth hospital.

      Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land memorial Park of Fort worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

      Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to shriners Hospital for Children in Houston or the Shriners Burns Center in Galveston, both in care of Mosiah Shrine Center, Box 1320, Fort Worth, Texas 76101, or a charity of choice.

      Ralph was born Jan 28, 1923, in Westboro, Mo. He graduated from Westboro High School in 1940. he married his high school sweetheart, Della Sparks, the following year. They moved to St. Louis, MO., where he worked for McDonald Douglas Aircraft before he joined the Marines. While in St. Louis, his oldest son, Ralph Edward was born. After leaving the mariens they moved to Minneapolis, Minn., when he opened a Skelly Service Station and a garage with a friend from the Marines. While working at the garage he met and married Ruby Orsen from Minneota, Minn, Ralph then went to work for Scott-Atwater as a machinist. His second son, Bruce Thomas, was born in Minneapolis. The government hired him away from Scott-Atwater as a packing specialist and the family moved to Wisconsin. His daughter, LuAnn Kay, was born while they lived in Equ Claire, Wis. The government transferred him several times to Racine, Wis.; Milwaukee, Wis.; Los Angeles, Calif.; and finally to Fort Worth, where he retired.

      Ralph was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Fort Worth were he was active in the Senior Leisure Group. He is remembered for his smile and the twinkle in his eyes. He was a 50-year Mason, a member of Southside Masonic Lodge #1114, Forth worth Scottish Rite, Mosiah Shrine and Mosiah Shrine Flying Fez. he truly loved working for the kids at the hospitals. Mosiah Shriner were a major part of his retirement years, and their fellowship and caring are truly appreciated by the family.

      Suvivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Edward and Dena Adamson of Plymouth, Wis.; son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Bruce and Mary Adamson of Otis, Kan.; daughter, LuAnn Adamson of Fort Worth; granddaughter and husband, Kelly and Brian Klaschus of Black Earth, Wis.; grandson and wife, Brent and Heather Adamson of Plymouth, Wis.; grandson, John Adamson and Tracie McPherson of Fort worth; great granddaughter, Karly Adamson of Plymouth, Wis.; great-grandson, Alex Klaschus of Black Earth, Wis.; great-grandson Matthew Scott Adamson of Forth Worth; brother, Dan Adamson of Altamont, Mo.; sister-in-law, Luella Mattson of Minneota, Minn,; brother-in-law, Walter Orsen of Minneapolis Minn,; and several nieces and nephews.
